Project Overview
The MENTOR New York Career Readiness Program had eight fellows from colleges and universities across the country and diverse backgrounds. The fellows met, engaged, and spoke to 10 executive leaders at different stages of their careers. A MENTOR New York staff person provided workshop content for a half hour at the beginning of the session. At the end of the 90-minute session, they also facilitated a discussion to have each student share their reflections and learnings. They also discuss the value of specific soft and hard skills they must be familiar with and develop to succeed in the interview process to secure future internships and professional experiences.
